Project Administrator
The project administrator is responsible for owning the project management processes assisting with the development and administration of Project Management processes, methodologies, along with providing general administrative support for projects.
Role Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support and assist PM's with all project related activities (Minutes, Data Entry Filing, General project organization) • Formatting/Creating templates and reports • Act as central information source by maintaining and distributing project details e.g. Contact details/organization, informing team on project status and updates. • Prepare project status reports • Ensure accuracy of all Project Filing (digital and physical) • Ensure team members follow defined processes. • Follow up with project team members on open issue logs and unresolved project tasks. • Coordinate activities for project team, (Meetings/Travel etc)
Basic Skill Requirements:
• Advanced computer skills - Word / Excel • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member • Excellent organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Excellent customer service orientation • Previous experience working in an Engineering Firm (basic knowledge of engineering terminology) • Ability to manage own workload and set priorities with little supervision • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and handle tight deadlines • Ability to function effectively in stressful situations/circumstances • Ability and desire to learn new skills • Can work in a close team environment / strong team player • Ensure quality, timeliness and results meet executive's expectations • Flexibility and adaptability • Pro-active approach
Project Engineer
Rally Engineering Inc. is actively recruiting Project Engineers to join the rally team in support of current workload. Projects are related to development of energy projects (Oil sands, SAGD, Mining, and Coal Technology) in the Edmonton area.
Role Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Project Manager, Lead small and mid sized Projects
- Accountable for Multi-discipline coordination and overall technical integrity of small and mid sized projects
- Build client relationships
- Travel, as required, to ensure the successful execution of project and/or department goals.
- Actively participate in self improvement and learning and technical seminars
Competencies / Experience Requirements:
- University Degree in Engineering
- 7 to 10 years of related experience (previous EPC experience preferred)
- Alberta P.Eng status required
- Extensive exposure to Multi-discipline engineering work
- Motivated, self starter, with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task on different projects
Senior Electrical Engineer
Rally Engineering Inc. is actively recruiting Electrical Engineers to join the rally team in support of current workload.
Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Department Head, as a team lead you are responsible for:
- Leading your discipline group of Engineers and Designers on specific multi-discipline projects
- Ensuring discipline’s project quality, schedule, and cost is controlled and within client’s expectation
- Building client relations
- Travel, as required, to ensure the successful execution of project and/or department goals
- Actively participate in self improvement and learning and technical seminars
Competencies / Experience Requirements:
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 to 6 years related experience (previous EPC experience preferred)
- Eligible for Alberta P.Eng status
- Motivated, self starter, with ability to work with minimal supervision
Junior / Intermediate Electrical Engineer
Rally Engineering Inc. is actively recruiting Electrical Engineers to join the rally team in support of current workload.
Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Department Head, you are responsible for:
- Be part of a project Design and Engineering team
- Perform specific Engineering tasks as directed by your team lead
- Participate actively in the designing process as demanded by the project
- Coordinate with your team peers as well as with other discipline personnel
- Travel as required as demanded by the project
- Actively participate in self improvement and learning and technical seminars
Competencies / Experience Requirements:
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering
- As a minimum eligible to register with APEGGA
- 2 to 6 years of related experience in the Petrochemical and Power industries
- Motivated, self starter, with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task on different projects
