Rally Engineering is actively recruiting Project Engineers, Discipline Engineers and Designers to join our growing team.

We are currently developing and executing numerous energy industry projects (Refining, Upgrading, Oil Sands, SAGD, Coal and Power Distribution). We are looking for energetic, positive and qualified people to become part of our dynamic work environment.

1. PROJECT ENGINEER

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Leading small and mid-sized projects
  • Accountable for multi-discipline coordination and overall technical integrity of projects
  • Developing client relationships
  • Travel, as required, to ensure the successful execution of project goals
  • Actively participating in self improvement, learning and technical seminars


Competencies / Experience Requirements:

  • University Degree in Engineering
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience (previous EPC experience preferred)
  • Alberta P.Eng. status required
  • Project controls experience is an asset
  • Extensive exposure to multi-discipline engineering work
  • Motivated, self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task on different projects
 

1. INTERMEDIATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Mechanical Department Head, as a Team Lead you are responsible for:

  • Being part of a project Design and Engineering team
  • Performing specific design tasks as directed by your Team Lead
  • Participating actively in the design process as demanded by the project
  • Coordinating with your team peers as well as with other discipline personnel
  • Travel, as required by the project
  • Actively participating in self improvement, learning and technical seminars


Competencies / Experience Requirements:

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-6 years of related experience in the energy industries
  • Alberta P.Eng. status
  • Motivated, self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task on different projects
 

1. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - SENIOR

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Department Head, as a Team Lead you are responsible for:

  • Leading your discipline’s group of Engineers and Designers on specific multi-discipline projects
  • Ensuring the discipline’s project quality, schedule and cost is controlled and within client’s expectation
  • Building client relationships
  • Travel, as required, to ensure the successful execution of project and/or department goals
  • Actively participating in mentoring, self-improvement, learning and technical seminars


Competencies / Experience Requirements:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years related experience (previous EPC experience preferred)
  • Eligible for Alberta P.Eng. status
  • Motivated, self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision
 

1. CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - SENIOR


Role Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Civil/Structural Department Head, as a Team Lead you are responsible for:

  • Leading your discipline’s group of Engineers and Designers on specific multi-discipline projects
  • Ensuring discipline’s project quality, schedule and cost is controlled and within client’s expectation
  • Building client relationships
  • Travel, as required, to ensure the successful execution of project and/or department goals
  • Actively participating in self improvement, learning and technical seminars


Competencies / Experience Requirements:

  • University Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
  • 6 to 10 years related experience (previous EPC experience preferred)
  • Eligible for Alberta P.Eng. status
  • Motivated, self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision

 

2. CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - INTERMEDIATE

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Civil / Structural Department Head, you are responsible for:
