1. SAFETY / HR – INTERMEDIATE

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Administration / Coordination of the Rally’s safety program and assuring that certifications are maintained
  • Support the department heads in recruiting and Human Resources issues including on-boarding of new staff
  • Provide Rally staff with information and support related to the employee benefits program
  • Assist in the ongoing development of HR and Safety policies for the company in cooperation with Rally’s Senior Management and third party Safety / HR Consultants
  • Other related tasks as required


Competencies / Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years related experience (previous vendor and / or engineering company experience preferred)
  • A combination of experience and knowledge related to safety and human resources practices typical of the engineering industry is an asset
  • Knowledge of Alberta Labor Code, safety standards, certifications and practices an asset
  • Motivated, self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
