Location: Sherwood Park, AB and Project Sites
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay Range: $55.00/hr - $75.00/hr (Compensation will be commensurate with education & experience.)
Travel: Required to travel to project sites and client locations.
· Lead multi-disciplinary EPC project teams through all phases: engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
· Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
· Ensure compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
· Oversee risk management, change control, and project reporting.
· Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
· Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery.
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
· Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
· 8- 15+ years of progressive project management experience in EPC environments.
· Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
· Proven track record managing large-scale mechanical projects, in Industrial, Oil &Gas, Petrochemicals, Pipeline and related industries.
· Strong understanding of engineering design, procurement processes, and construction methodologies.
· Familiarity with contract administration, vendor management, and procurement processes.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
· Project Management certification or equivalent (e.g.. PMP, PMI)
