The Client decided to replace the original conveyor in-kind with upgraded materials. The new support structure was designed and fabricated from 304L stainless steel with FRP grating and cladding for greatly improved corrosion resistance.
Rally prepared construction work packages for all aspects of the civil / structural scope including piling, demolition, module fabrication and assembly, and other turnaround work.
Removal of the existing gallery and structure was planned for a brief two-week outage. The design and execution of the work leveraged off-site modular construction to shorten the overall turnaround window.
