New piping was constructed above grade to several existing gasoline production tanks. Related upgrades were made to the existing site electrical and controls systems.
An extensive network of underground gasoline lines in a Client’s tank farm was difficult to inspect and maintain. Rally undertook a project to redesign the piping network above grade for improved access and greater operability. New low-NPSH gasoline transfer pumps were purchased and installed, and new equipment was installed to facilitate the blending of premium gasoline within the tank farm.
Process produced P&IDs, LDTs, process design criteria, operating philosophy, HAZOP report, and updated block flow diagrams.
Mechanical created new API 610 pump and static mixer material requisitions (MRs), then provided bid evaluations and post-award support. They produced CWPs for piping construction and pump installation, and registered piping system changes with the provincial authority.
Piping provided 3D piping and pump layout models, then produced isometric drawings, tie point lists, and material take-off lists for CWPs.
Electrical produced single line diagrams, hazardous location drawings, key plan drawings, cable and panel schedules, pump schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and installation detail drawings for CWPs.
I&C developed the control narratives, cause & effect matrix, instrument index, MRs, datasheets, loop drawings, and instrument location plans for a CWP in addition to LAN/network/control system architecture and fiber optic drawings.
Civil/Structural delivered the earthworks, piling, foundation, structural steel, and concrete foundation drawings for CWPs.
