Method

A field walkdown provided as buildingmark-ups around the PSV of the P&ID, photos of the installation, andnameplates of the PSV and related equipment. Engineers used this information,vendor data and piping dimensional information in calculation templates, todetermine the adequacy of each PSV installation, or identify deficiencies andrecommend corrective actions.

Outcomes

As a result of the program work, theclient has:

•       A complete record for each PSV of the documented calculationincluding references.

•       An updated asset database identifying the characteristics of eachPSV, including any deficiencies and recommendations.

•       A fully completed datasheet for each PSV as it exists.

•       A fully completed datasheet for each PSV with recommended changes(when applicable).
