Rally replaced a 24” actuated wedge gate valve with a 24” actuated triple offset valve. The scope entailed providing engineered drawings to allow the client to change the valve without any piping modifications. Electrical engineering checked the existing system with the plan to reuse all the existing equipment and cables.
During the clients 20-year inspection outage, they are replacing multiple motor operated valves (MOVs) with new valves and actuators. The NPS 24, 20 and 16 gate valves are replaced with new triple offset valves and actuator with the same face to face dimensions. Where the new face to face dimension cannot be achieved, Rally is designing piping changes that are simple for the client to install.
